I have worked in Afghanistan since April 2009. I'm currently responsible for managing growth programmes in Helmand. We focus on supporting the Afghanistan Government to deliver its own development plans. There is a lot to be done, but it’s interesting work which includes building roads, providing electricity and water and training Afghans to help them get better jobs.
