I am the CEO and founder of a small UK based NGO, Orchid Project, with a vision of a world free from female genital cutting. Prior to this, I was Director of Transport & Campaigns at London First, Director of "Campaign for Crossrail" and other roles in the private sector in London. Following time spent with VSO in Ethiopia, I came across the extent and scale of FGC, as well as the taboo around it and set up Orchid Project to address this gap.
