Michael Gidney

Michael Gidney has been Deputy Executive Director of the Fairtrade Foundation since mid-2009. From 2005 to 2008, he was involved with the organisation as Chair of the Fairtrade Foundation’s Board of Trustees, having been a member of the Board since 2002. Previously he was Director of Policy at Traidcraft, the UK’s leading Fair Trade Organisation. Mike has worked in International Development for 20 years, for most of this time with a particular focus on small enterprise development, helping producers identify and access markets.
