I am Head of Profession for Health, a post that I took up full time in August 2011. Getting to grips with my new role, which gives me an oversight of the work of all DFID’s Health Advisers, caused a one year hiatus in the blogs that I started whilst I was working Mozambique. I will be drawing on DFID health advisers experience of supporting health programmes around the world to highlight some of the exciting work we do.
